Early Christmas Treat for Our Special Friends
In this season of giving, it is a blessing for us to bring simple joys to others.
End-November 2012, our staff at Hatten Group brought an early Christmas cheer to 70 child beneficiaries and their parents/guardians from Wings Melaka by hosting a heavenly high-tea party at Hatten Hotelas an encouragement for our special friends to continue excelling in their learning journey despite the learning disabilities they have.
In our first ever CSR event held at Hatten Hotel, our special friends and parents/guardians were served a sumptuous International Buffet Menu consisting 25 dishes at the spacious Hatten Hotel Ballroom 2.
Among the items that our special friends and family enjoy are Hatten Hotel’s signature fares such as the fragrant Hatten Style Fried Rice, crispy Prawn Paste Chicken Wings, soft Bread Butter Pudding, melt-in-your-mouth Caramel Custard and rich Chocolate Fondue.
We were delighted to treat our special friends these delicious diners’ favourites which are usually available in the buffet spreadatChatterz, an all-day dining restaurant in Hatten Hotel.
During the lovely high-tea party, our staff at Hatten Hotel and also Hatten Group had a great time serving and mingling with our special friends, parents/guardians as well as social workers from Wings Melaka.
As this was such a meaningful event, Mr Jesse Chevrez, Vice President, Hatten Group Hospitality, said, “We are pleased to support noteworthy causes such as Wings Melaka to bring cheer and encourage special needs persons in this season of giving.
“At Hatten Group, we believe that a better tomorrow starts with us. We certainly look forward to host other meaningful charity events at Hatten Hotel in the near future”.
Prior to the high-tea party, our staff at Hatten Group also learnt on the role they can play to be a more caring citizen through a sharing byWings Melakawhich detailed how an individual or small group can volunteer with the organisation to further support persons with learning disabilities due to health conditions such as ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), Down Syndrome and autism.
