A Better Tomorrow Starts With Us

In 1957, August 31, Malaysia gained her independence.

Since then, it has been a long journey, to where we are today. There were many highs, sporting achievements that made the nation proud and a fair share of lows. One thing that has been consistent is how the races – Malay, Indian, Chinese, Peranakan, Portuguese-Eurasian, Sikh, Chitty, Orang Asli as well as the many East Malaysian tribes in Sabah and Sarawak, have all managed to live together in harmony creating a unique blend of heritage and cultural diversity, a mixture of languages  not to mention the delicious array of food, food and more food.

This year, 2017, we celebrate an amazing 60 years of independence. Malaysia is now a healthy, prosperous, developing nation. There’s so much more to look forward to as a nation but it always fun to look back at how far we have come. Enjoy this cheeky flashback and highlights of the 6 decades of Malaysia’s Independence>>

Selamat Hari Merdeka 2017!
